The online application is no longer available for the fall 2008 semester. A paper application will still be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, August 25th.
We are very happy that you have chosen to apply for admission to our institution. The online undergraduate application requires students to create an account, complete the application and submit online payment with a credit card.
There is a $30 non-refundable application fee payable with a Visa or MasterCard credit card number and expiration date. If you have previously enrolled at NIU as a degree-seeking undergraduate student, you are not required to submit this payment.If you would prefer to pay the application fee by check or money order, you must submit a paper application.
NOTICE: The new application for Academic Year 2009 semesters will be available starting September 1, 2008.
Freshmen Applicants
To be considered for an application fee waiver, you must be currently enrolled in high school and submit an NIU application fee waiver form or a letter from your high school counselor or social worker describing your economic situation.
